Delete your account
You can delete your WhereToWonder account and its data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open WhereToWonder and sign in.
- Go to Account.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete forever.
Without the app
Email hello@wheretowonder.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, username, birthday and preferences
- Comfort & Safety answers
- Trips, saved places, visited and dream countries
- Memories (your trip photos) and everything you shared with the community: photos, videos, spots and reviews
- Friendships, friend requests and your place in group trips (trips you own are deleted for everyone)
This happens straight away and can't be undone. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days. Anonymous usage statistics (for example "a place was saved") are kept but no longer linked to you. Data stored only on your device is cleared when you delete the account or uninstall the app.
